Gerry’s is a premier salad and side manufacturer and offers 120 different products which are sold coast to coast.
We are looking for great team members who desire a friendly work environment and want to learn how we create delicious fresh potato salad, warm mashed potatoes, cold pasta salads, zesty dips and more.
Our products enable families and friends to celebrate around the dinner or picnic table every day.
STARTING WAGE: $20.

HOURS: 9:30pm through 5:30am (varying end times to meet business needs)
DAYS: Monday through Friday
SUMMARY
The night sanitation team is responsible for the cleanliness of the plant and ensuring it is ready for production the following day.
This position is key in performing sanitation processes with equipment and following all safety protocols to keep self, coworkers, and customers safe.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Know and follow HACCP and SQF safety programs.
Know and follow all food safety procedures.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Follow all Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
Wear all required personal protective equipment stated in polices.
Know all chemicals and their use.
Know cleaning procedures.
Disassemble and assemble applicable equipment for cleaning.
Monitor air and surface bacteria counts.
This is not an all-inclusive list and additional duties will be assigned.
PHYSICAL DUTIES
May need to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, reach, stoop, kneel, twist, walk, utilize stairs, etc.
Able to use hands to perform tasks associated with the position.
Alert to surroundings to ensure safety for self and others.
Able to hear the horn of a forklift, machinery, individuals providing instructions, emergency sirens, and more.
Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and adjust eyesight to focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Characteristic of a manufacturing facility.
Cool temperatures due to perishable product manufacturing.
Noise level is moderate and hearing protection is required.
Exposed to chemicals for sanitizing equipment and floors.
Personal protective equipment is mandatory.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
May need to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license.
