Media Blaster

Duties: - Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary - Operate power tools and hand tools to remove rust, paint, and other debris from surfaces - Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Assist with material handling and assembly tasks as needed - Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to ensure efficient production processes Media blasting is *a process of cleaning and preparing surfaces for various refinishing, restoration or coating applications*.
It involves propelling abrasive materials at high speeds against a surface to remove contaminants such as paint, rust, grease, scale and other accumulated deposits Qualifications: - Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in surface preparation and painting - Ability to perform basic math calculations for measuring and mixing paint - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and noise Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
