Stacyville Kids Care (SKC) is a licensed, non-profit daycare center in Stacyville, Iowa.
SKC’s mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for kids of all ages.
*Duties:*
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through educational and interactive activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Ensure the daycare environment is clean, organized, and safe at all times
*Requirements:*
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting strongly reccomended
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Ability to effectively manage behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children of all ages
