Job Description
This position will provide administrative support and purchasing assistance to many areas of the plans as well as greet customer, vendors, and answer phones.
We are looking for a friendly and professional individual that is self-motivated, detail oriented and has strong people skills.
Small office, but part of a large international company.
Lots of variety in tasks and opportunities to work with many different people in the plant.
Manages new hire recruiting and onboarding, including posting open positions in ATS, screening new applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting new hire orientation, and maintaining employee files and HRIS.
Maintains security badge and vending systems, training records, and required safety training.
Plans employee engagement activities and events.
Responsible to maintain all employee records including I-9 files, background checks, and drug screens.
Assists with payroll processing by reviewing timecards and maintaining adjustments as needed to bi-weekly payroll.
Answer the telephone and manage the main and other correspondence as needed.
Order office and plant supplies as well as verify monthly billing statements.
Work with several departments on reports or purchasing requirements and manage the SDS entry for Mason City facility of any chemicals.
Performs other duties and completes projects as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree desired
Minimum of two years customer service or human resources experience preferred
Extensive knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
